The Carleton Planetary Robotics team is made up of over 30 students from the Faculty of Engineering & Design and the Faculty of Science, although students from any program are welcome to join.
The large scope of the project brings together all engineering disciplines, including Aerospace, Mechanical, Software, Electrical, Computer Systems, Physics, and Computer Science.
The competition team for the CIRC 2017
The team has been together for 4 years and has just competed and placed 2nd at the inaugural Canadian International Rover Challenge, in Drumheller, Alberta.
IOn July 2016 the team achieved 4th at their first competition in the United Kingdom: The UK University Rover Challenge. All members have worked incredibly hard to get to this point and we are all very proud of each other.
CPRT continues to build rovers, and intends to compete in multiple rover challenges in the next year.
